lyrics

There’s a world that no one knows the way to - except for me.
I thought there were no turnoffs on the road,
Then one day I happened across a break in the forest,
A path quite like my own.

I followed it to another world from a distance.
You could be right. You could be wrong.
I see you stand alone on the edge of the drop
But the sun came up and TV started and the wind howled and lasers slashed the sky.

Illusions aren’t solutions, they just cloud the mind.
It’s so sad. We just play along.
And the power said to free him and the world was ours so the story goes . . .
It’s so sad. Like my own.

I followed it to another world from a distance.
You could be right. You could be wrong.
I see you stand alone on the edge of the drop
But the sun came up and TV started and the wind howled and lasers slashed the sky.

I’m never so happy when I see myself living in your dreams.
I’m never so happy when I see myself living in your dreams.
